New From Campbell's Soup

Here's a link to the blood libel poster at San Francisco State. We ought to Google-bomb the Allah out of this. The administration needs to either crack down hard, or drop their speech codes. Maybe enough exposure of this will shame them into one or the other.

THIS MUST STOP.

I've linked to your post and the Doctor's, and I've also posted an image of the poster. Thanks for the heads up, Rand.

What would a googlebomb accomplish in this case? What do you propose?

Posted by Martin Devon at May 16, 2002 03:40 PM

Just exposing this to a large audience. We could link it to things like "Palestinian cause" and "the truth about Palestine" it would show up high in the list when people did searches.

Posted by Rand Simberg at May 16, 2002 03:59 PM

Actually I think it would be better if they changed their speech codes to allow true "free speech."

How about a google bomb using the name of one of the groups listed on that web page?

Posted by Ross N. at May 16, 2002 05:58 PM

OK, Makes sense 2me. I propose a Googlebomb that Sends people looking for information on San Francisco State University (or SFSU) to this URL: http://cosmology.berkeley.edu/~armel/bloodlibel.html

The idea is that if SFSU officials see that this is how internet searchers first see them, they will be under more pressure to act. How does that sound to you? I'll get the ball rolling here (http://www.patiopundit.com/archives/001148.html#001148)

I linked to it on my blog.

Hi,
I'm the mother of a SFSU student and I was at the rally. It was the most awful experience I have had in my whole life. After this wonderful peace rally, the students who were manning a table at the back of the plaza were mobbed by a gang of pro-Palestinian protestors. I was with them. We were surrounded by these thugs and yelled at. They screamed, "Kill the Jews!" "Hitler should have finished you off!" "Burn mother fucker burn!" Rather than asking them to leave the plaza, the police surrounded us for protection but we were trapped - surrounded by this hateful abuse. They called us "chicken" and said that if the police weren't there they would kill us.

The radical left fringe has taken on this pro-Palestinian cause and promoting it as politically correct. Kids on campus are afraid to wear a Star of David around their necks.
Anti-Israel has morphed into anti-Jewish.

When the left goes too far, it turns into Fascism.

Thanks for your support!!!!

PS
When I get time, I'm going to put up a blog covering this whole problem including all my correspondence with the administration and links to all the news coverage
at kakamememama.com

I'll let you know when it's up!
