Continuing National Suicide

A large majority of Palestinians say that they will support Iraq if it's attacked by the U.S.

Yet another faulty implementation of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." If the Palestinians are trying to elicit sympathy from Americans, they continue to find surefire ways to achieve just the opposite.

I'm amazed that nearly 10% of those polled had the guts (and sense) to not support it.

We can only hope the Palestinians do indeed support Iraq - preferably on the front lines in Iraq (the Republican Guard will be running away, so somebody will have to do it). That could solve two problems at once.

How, exactly, will they support Iraq? No Arab nations lets them in anymore, although Saddam would probably overcome his distaste if they went to the front lines, as Barbara suggests.

They supported Iraq last time, and got themselves thrown out of Kuwait for their pains. Backing the wrong horse again. As usual.

Well, you know what they say: "Impotent blustering blowhards of a feather stick together."
