If this isn't evidence that we were living in a police state I don't know what is. Republicans should get off their asses and stop writing all of this freedom killing "anti-terrorism" legislation. I will no longer vote for Republicans, especially King George, since they have proven themselves to be authoritarians that are in many ways worse than Democrats. I guess I'll fill in the bubbles next to Libertarian candidates from now on.

The Homeland Security Act of 2002 is *NOT* the USA-PATRIOT Act.

This part of the HSA (at least!) is stupid, but don't tar the wrong thing with the brush...
